The main content should resolve the visitor's important questions or enable the intended task without unnecessary obstacles.

- Hard gate
- No
- Change class
- AUTO_WITH_TEST: A candidate requiring relevant tests.
- Quality bucket
- Accuracy and evidence chain
Why it matters
A visitor who cannot find the price, the limits or the risks on a page has to go elsewhere or contact you just to learn the basics. Google's guidance on people-first content asks whether a reader leaves feeling they have learned enough to achieve their goal. Pages that answer the blockers directly serve both users and the answer engines that summarise them.
Evidence to review
- Task script, blocker checklist and user or expert review.
How to implement
- Identify decision blockers and the minimum information needed.
- Supply relevant limits, assumptions and next steps.
- Remove distracting material that does not serve the page purpose; do not hide essential caveats for a shorter hero.
How UltimateSEO checks this
Partly automated. The scan records page signals, but a passing signal is kept as information: contextual or account evidence is still needed to establish the control. A failing signal is a prompt for review, not a confirmed defect.
The check looks at: the crawler flags indexable non-utility pages with very thin main content; whether a page actually lets the user complete the task is judged by a person.
States used: PASS, FAIL, UNKNOWN, NOT_APPLICABLE or BLOCKED. UNKNOWN is never shown as a pass. How states work.
